Program Objective

Binghamton has joined the other top ranked business schools that have developed accelerated MBA programs. Most other programs require eleven months of study and three to four years of work experience. Binghamton stands out in its one-of-a-kind nine month program designed to accommodate a diverse population with or without extensive full-time work experience. Although work experience is preferred, hands-on experiences are integrated into the coursework to give students with less work experience a competitive edge in the job market.

Because of the intense nature of the Fast-Track Program, it is beneficial for students to be focused in their post-MBA career plans before they begin.  This unique program is not for everyone.  Students are carefully selected based upon their solid foundation in the business essentials.  Only students who have graduated from an AACSB accredited business school or its equivalent within five years will be considered.  If you meet the requirements, this attractive option not only saves time and money but also moves you onto your career track quickly with all the skills needed for success.  Admission is offered for the fall semester only.

This carefully crafted curriculum builds upon undergraduate business coursework and moves you rapidly into advanced coursework. You will work in task-oriented teams drawing upon the experience and skills of your peers to solve challenging business problems. Effective leadership requires you to see the big picture and understand how all the functional areas are linked. This cross-functional integration gives you a generalist orientation while allowing numerous elective credits for specialization. While in the program you will gain a perspective on how organizations operate through various professional development activities including the mentor program and field experiences.
