| Ten Things to Know When Applying... |

The School of Management accepts applications for the full-time, Four - Semester MBA, Fast-Track MBA Programs and PhD. program for the fall semester only. The school reviews applications on a continuous basis until the upcoming class is filled. Applications for the MS in accounting and part-time MBA program are accepted for both the spring and fall semesters.
- 1) Admission to our program is competitive. We look at a combination of your previous academic work, references, GMATs, and your personal statement.

2) Employment experience is preferred, but not a prerequisite for admission.

3) We consider applications from students with Bachelor's degrees in any undergraduate major.
- 4) Students may enter the MS in accounting program from other disciplines. Additional credit hours will be required to complete undergraduate courses in accounting.

5) It will take full-time students two years to complete the MBA degree; for part-time study, approximately four years are needed.

6) It is strongly recommended that students have a basic understanding of calculus prior to enrollment in the program. Students who plan careers in Finance or Operations Management should be aware that a strong foundation in calculus is necessary.

7) We use the GMAT as a guideline to determine potential performance in graduate-level management study.

8) Binghamton University offers financial assistance, including a limited number of graduate assistantships available on a competitive basis.
- 9) Binghamton's management program attracts local, state, national, and international employers in government, non-profit, and corporate environments.

10) Employers recruit students through the Career Development Center.
