Internships

The School of Management encourages students to undertake well structured internship experiences and facilitates the process through the SOM Advising Office. Students may pursue internships in a variety of ways.

The School of Management maintains an online database of internship opportunities. These are largely local positions with some NYC area positions in the Summer section. Students are also advised to check with the Career Development Center to research national programs and to connect with recruiters who often interview for summer pre-professional programs. Off Campus College also operates a large internship program and publishes a catalog of openings each semester. Students wishing to obtain an internship outside of the Binghamton area may inquire directly with companies in which they have an interest and only need to have the content of the internship approved by SOM Undergraduate Advising.

SOM Internship Guidelines and InstructionsStudents interested in registering for a for-credit internship must review and follow instructions contained in the SOM's Guidelines pertaining to for-credit internships.
