Why
Binghamton University's School of Management?
I chose Binghamton University because BU is one of the best values
in public universities. When I was in high school, I worked for The
Princeton where I had direct access to information on almost every
college program. After researching BU and other schools, and speaking
to the Princeton Review research personnel about Binghamton, I knew
that Binghamton was where I wanted pursue my undergraduate degree."
Memories
of the SOM:
"Meeting David Komansky, CEO and Chairman of Merrill Lynch
& Co. was an unforgettable experience. He visited the SOM and
received an honorary doctorate from the University. At the reception
after the presentation, I had an opportunity to meet him. This summer
I will intern at Merrill Lynch Co. (New York City) as an Investment
Banking Summer Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group."
"The School
Of Management is an excellent place to start your career in business.
I have grown personally and professionally throughout my college
career. I have grown personally through my experiences with friends
and future colleagues I have met in class. I have grown professionally
through the many top tier firms that recruit at BU and the numerous
professional development events sponsored by various student organizations
on campus. Also, the professors at SOM are very eager and willing
to help in any way possible from career planning to advice about
life in general."
