Capstone Competiton

An MBA student team from Binghamton University was among the top five in the Capstone and Foundation Challenge run by Management Simulations Inc.   The team led by Shu-Ya (Rio) Peng included Yinghua (Michelle) Zhou and Ling-Chiao (Joe) Huang placed 4th among 532 teams worldwide.

The competition involves making a number of strategic decisions for a sensor business over a simulated eight-year time span.   “The Capstone and Foundation Challenge provides an action learning device that enables students at all professional levels to learn in a risk-free environment,” said Dan Smith, president of Management Simulations Inc. “The global competition teaches important and complicated business principles that result in better-prepared and more-skilled students.”  We congratulate the team on their impressive performance!
